These terms apply to your use of this website and to initial enquiries made through it. They do not replace a written agreement for commissioned safeguarding, consultancy, or family support work. Where we enter a contract with you, separate terms will apply to that engagement.

We provide safeguarding consultancy, flexible interim support, education safeguarding leadership, bilingual case support, and related professional services to organisations and private clients, working alongside police, social care, NHS, and local authority safeguarding partners.
Using this website
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting, or related systems
- Introduce malware or interfere with how the site operates
- Copy, scrape, or republish substantial parts of the site for commercial use without our written permission
- Misrepresent your relationship with us or use our name in a misleading way
Content on this site is for general information. It is not legal, medical, or clinical advice. Safeguarding situations can be urgent. If a child or adult is at immediate risk, contact the police on 999 or your local authority safeguarding team.
Enquiries and contact form
When you submit the contact form or email us, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We use enquiry data only to respond and to discuss possible work, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship or obligation for us to accept work. We may decline enquiries that fall outside our expertise, capacity, location, or professional boundaries.
Commissioned services
Professional services are provided subject to a separate agreement (for example a purchase order, statement of work, letter of engagement, or private client agreement). That agreement will set out scope, fees, timescales, confidentiality, data protection roles, and cancellation terms.
Unless agreed in writing otherwise:
- Fees are quoted in advance or invoiced in line with the agreed engagement
- Payment is due no later than 30 days after invoice
- Overdue invoices may attract standard UK late-payment interest in line with statutory provisions
- We are not VAT registered; invoices do not include VAT unless stated otherwise at the time of quoting
- Travel and reasonable expenses may apply for on-site work and will be agreed beforehand where possible
- Cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out in the relevant contract when work is agreed
- Reflective consultation and practice support is practice-focused safeguarding consultation; formal regulated social work supervision applies only where explicitly agreed in writing
- We maintain professional indemnity insurance and enhanced DBS checks appropriate to our work
Bilingual case support and court-related work
Bilingual case support provides specialist communication and cultural context alongside qualified practitioners. It is not a substitute for court-certified or regulated interpreting where that is required by the commissioning body or court.
Support in court-related or legal settings is practical safeguarding and communication support. It is not legal advice and not expert witness work unless explicitly agreed in writing in a separate engagement.
Confidentiality
We treat enquiries and commissioned work confidentially within professional and legal limits. We may need to share information where there is a safeguarding risk, a legal duty, a court requirement, or, where appropriate, with your consent to support referrals and family support. We will explain those limits at the outset of any engagement where practicable.
Intellectual property
We own or license the content on this website, including text, images, branding, and layout. You may view and print pages for personal reference. You may not reproduce our materials for commercial distribution without permission.
Materials we create for clients under a commissioned agreement are handled as set out in that agreement. Unless agreed otherwise, we retain rights in our methodologies, templates, and general professional know-how.
Limitation of liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on website content alone, from events outside our reasonable control, or from matters covered by a separate client agreement (which will set out the relevant limits for commissioned work).

We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and respond within approximately 20 working days. If your complaint relates to commissioned work, we will also follow any complaints process set out in the relevant contract.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection rules give you rights in another jurisdiction.
